BoF 3-Point Contest

Well folks, our Boys of the Future inaugural 3 Point Contest and Cookout was a huge success! Right off the bat, we’d like to give major thanks to each of our 40 mask wearing attendees, support volunteers, and donors as we came together to raise over $3000 for Black Women in Motion an organization that empowers, supports, and celebrates the advancement of Black Women in the Toronto community.

Our players came ready to shoot with over 20 going for the title of 3 point champion.

After 3 rounds of winnowing the field, and a lot of basketball sanitization, Dean Garcia came out on top and with his hot hand in the money ball round and managed to hit 13 threes to raise $1300 in addition to the $1700 raised in donations.

We would also like to thank THCSG for their pop up shop and prize donation and highly recommend checking out their website for clothing from an up and coming GTA brand. To everyone who made our first ever event, especially a social distanced one, such a blast, we thank you.
